Brushing
Brush gently from the ends upwards with a soft bristle or loop brush, holding the weft or bond to avoid tension at the root.
Washing
Wash with sulphate free shampoo and conditioner in lukewarm water, working downwards rather than piling the hair on top of the head.
Heat Protectant
Always apply a heat protectant before straightening or curling, and keep tools at a moderate temperature to preserve the cuticle.
Sleeping
Tie the hair loosely in a braid or low ponytail before sleeping, and use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction and tangling.
Curly Texture Care
Curly hair prefers moisture. Detangle with conditioner in the hair, scrunch rather than brush when dry, and refresh with water and leave in product.
Professional Maintenance
Tapes, closures and frontals should be maintained and refitted by a qualified professional to protect both the extensions and your natural hair.
With correct aftercare, your hair can last two to five years, or longer.
